Jason E. Rohde, 50, passed away on February 18, 2022 in Naperville, IL. Jason was born on June 10, 1971 in Oak Park, IL. He owned and operated Door Jam for almost 20 years, servicing the community and their garage door needs. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and taking his family out to local restaurants and memorable events. He also loved antiquing and attending Sandwich Fair yearly, but his passion was having his annual 4th of July party along with the neighbors, as he was very patriotic and loved our country. He was happiest surrounded by family and friends. He adored his grandchildren, and they will forever miss their papa. He was loved by many and is truly missed.
Jason is survived by his daughter, Heather Rohde (Dekalb), his ex-wife Donna Rohde (Plano) and two step-daughters, Jessica Hejl (Montgomery) and Angelica Sakota (Sandwich). Four grandchildren Ayvah (11), Lorenzo (5), Elijah (5), and Isaiah (5). His sisters, Deborah Rohde and Rebecca Synowiec, an aunt Charmaine Reznik (Lyons), and two nephews Jonathan and Joseph Synowiec, as well as many extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Herman and Georgianna Rohde, and his grandparents, Andrew (Andy) and Helen Dasko.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to the family in the form of cash/blank check.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Plano American Legion, 510 E. Dearborn Street Plano, IL 60545.
